This 12-month structured learnership is designed for young people who are passionate about client service, eager to learn, and ready to build a long-term career in the medical aid and insurance industry. Successful candidates will work in Momentum Health’s contact centre environment while completing an Occupational Certificate: Health Care Benefits Advisor (NQF Level 5).

About the Momentum Health Contact Centre Learnership
The Momentum Health Contact Centre Learnership combines classroom-based learning with practical on-the-job training. Learners are placed in a real working environment where they gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification.
During the programme, learners will be trained to deliver professional, client-centric service in a fast-paced healthcare contact centre while developing technical knowledge of medical schemes, healthcare benefits, and industry regulations.
While completion of the learnership does not guarantee permanent employment, it significantly improves employability within the medical aid, insurance, and financial services sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the learnership, successful candidates will be required to:
- Attend all classroom training sessions and practical workplace learning
- Participate in on-the-job training aligned to Momentum Metropolitan standards
- Learn Momentum Health products, policies, systems, and procedures
- Complete work-based learning logbooks
- Compile a Portfolio of Evidence for SETA submission
- Complete formative and summative assessments
- Demonstrate competence in company systems and operational processes
- Conduct themselves professionally and uphold Momentum Group values
- Prepare for and pass the EISA examination
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Momentum Health Learnership 2026, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
Citizenship and Age
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between 18 and 30 years old
Education
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Mathematics 40% OR Mathematical Literacy 60%
- English 50% plus another South African language 50%
Employment Status
- Must be unemployed
- Must be able to commit to the full 12-month programme
- Must not be studying (part-time or full-time) during the learnership
- Must not have completed the same learnership previously
Additional Requirements
- Computer literacy is an advantage
- Must be able to commute to the workplace independently
- Must be available from 01 February 2026 to 31 January 2027
