Available Internship Opportunities

Successful candidates will be placed in various departments within Mandeni Local Municipality, receiving mentorship and structured training. The available positions include:

  • Public Relations (5 Posts): Interns will assist with communication between the municipality and the public, help manage media relations, and support community engagement projects.
  • Library Services (10 Posts): Ideal for those passionate about literacy, interns will contribute to managing community libraries, promoting reading initiatives, and supporting digital information services.
  • Community Development (5 Posts): Interns will engage with local communities to support initiatives aimed at empowering youth, women, and vulnerable groups, while helping to implement developmental projects.
  • Civil Engineering/Building (6 Posts): Engineering and construction graduates will gain experience in municipal infrastructure projects, including planning, building inspections, and the overall construction process.
