About the ATNS ATS Bursary Programme

Available Bursary Streams
Applicants may be considered for one of the following Air Traffic Services bursar streams:
- Air Traffic Services Officer (ATSO)
- Aeronautical Information Management Officer (AIMO)
- Target Generating Officer (TGO)
- Airport Management Centre (AMC) Liaison Officer
- Simulator Support Officer (SSO)
Placement into a stream will be determined by ATNS operational requirements, assessments, and suitability.
Programme Description

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

- Hold a Matric (Grade 12) certificate
- Passed Pure Mathematics
- Minimum Level 4 (HG D / SG C or above)
- Passed English
- Minimum Level 4 (HG D / SG C or above)
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID document
- Be unemployed South African youth
- Be medically fit and willing to undergo ATNS medical assessments (especially for the ATSO stream)
- Be willing to relocate anywhere in South Africa
- Attach Grade 12 results to the application
